Does Secure Storage Offer A Moving Truck?

Many of our Self Storage Locations offer a Moving Truck Program through U-Haul, and some locations offer a Free Moving Truck to assist you in your move. Please talk to your Site Management to see what is offered at each location.

 

 

How Can I Make My Payment?

Secure Storage offers many ways to make your payment quickly and conveniently. All of our locations offer Automatic Payments with your debit/credit card, online payments, payments accepted by telephone, after hours drop box, stop in our customer service office, or mail in your check or money order.

 

 

What Type of Self Storage Unit Do I Need?

Everyone’s needs are different and based on many items, such as the items that you are storing, and your personal preferences. Our locations offer Drive Up Access Units, Hallway Access Units. Our doors also have Roll Up Access, or Swing Doors. All locations offer different options, contact our Site Management to see what is offered

 

 

Do I Have To Sign A Lease?

All of our customers are a Month to Month Agreement and you can cancel your rental at any time with a ten (10) day notice to our customer service office. Many locations do offer a pre-payment discount when you pay six (6) and twelve (12) months in advance

 

 

Do I Need To Provide My Own Lock?

Yes, all of our customers need to provide their own Disc or Cylinder Lock (depends on the hasp). Secure Storage does not hold keys to your Self Storage unit so you are the only one who will have access to the unit. If you do not have a lock already, Secure Storage Customer Service Offices do sell locks for your convenience

 

 

What Security Is In Place To Secure My Items?

Secure Storage takes Security Seriously. All of our locations are equipped with Computerized Gate Access Systems allowing Access only to our customers using their customized Gate Access PIN’s, All locations are well lit, all night long, 365 days a year, 24hr Digital Surveillance, & more. Are There Push Carts & Dollies For Use?

We offer Push Carts & Dollies at all of our locations for our customers to use. Ask our Site Manager to borrow the push cart/dolly.

 

 

Does Secure Storage Sell Boxes, Tape, & Other Packing/Moving Supplies?

All Secure Storage locations offer Moving & Packing Supplies. We have the best inventory of heavy duty Boxes, Tape, Packing Kits, & other packing items that you’ll need to make your move and storage stay and safe one.

 

 

Does Secure Storage Offer RV, Boat, & Auto Storage?

Secure Storage does offer RV, Boat, & Auto Storage at many locations. Some of these locations are also equipped with the Services & Amenities that will save you time and money (ie, 24hr Gate Access, Wash Station, Dumping Station, Free Ice, & More). Am I Required To Maintain Insurance / Protection On My Unit?

Yes, all Self Storage Units, & Vehicles must maintain insurance / protection while storing with Secure Storage. Vehicle Storage customers must provide and maintain their personal insurance, Self Storage customers, Secure Storage does offer the Secure Protection Plan, but we will also accept Homeowners or Renters Insurance

 

 

Can I Change To A Different Size After I’ve Already Moved In?

Yes, if you need to get a larger unit or a smaller unit, you can transfer from your current unit to the new unit. This is called a transfer and can be done at any time during your rental.

 

 

What Are The Access Hours?

Secure Storage locations offer different access hours for different types of Storage. Check out our locations page, or contact your site manager for gate access hours

 

 

How Do I Set Up Automatic Payments?

You can print the Automatic Payment Authorization form from the Pay Online Page, or request that the location email the form to you. Complete the form and when the customer service office receives the form, we can set the account up for auto pay

 

 

What Do I Need To Do When I Move Out?

Notify the customer service office ten (10) days before you vacate your storage unit. On the day that you are moving out of your unit, remove all items, sweep the unit of trash and debris, and remove your lock from the unit. When completed stop by the customer service office so that the Manager can inspect your storage unit

 

 

How Do I Update My Contact Information?

You can print the Change of Contact Information form from the Pay Online Page, or request that the location email the form to you. Complete the form and when the customer service office receives the form, your account will be updated with your new information

 

 

Can I Add People To My Account?

No. Secure Storage only rents a Self Storage Unit or Parking Space to one person. This person is the person who is responsible for the account. If you want to give someone access to your storage unit / parking space, you will have to escort them onto the facility and to your unit /parking space

 

 

Can I store my commercial truck at your facility?

Yes, you can store your Box Truck, Semi (Tractor) Truck, and in some cases (when available) you can also store your trailer too. These spaces are always limited, please contact the location directly to speak about availability.

 

 

What Happens If I Lose My Keys?

If you lose your keys, you can request that the Site Manger remove your lock. When your lock is removed, you will need to be present, and sign any necessary paperwork and replace the lock immediately to make sure that your storage unit remains secured.

 

 

What Do I Do If I Lose My Gate Access Code?

If you lose your gate code, you will need to stop by the customer service office and Management will provide you with the code. Gate Access codes are not give out over the telephone. If you need to, you can also have your gate access code changed.

 

 

What Are The Customer Service Office Hours?

Secure Storage locations have different Customer Service Office Hours, you can view an individual locations hours at our locations page or speaking to your site manager. All Secure Storage locations offices are closed on Major Holidays (New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas Day)
