Gate Access

Thank you for your continued trust with Secure Storage as your storage provider. We are excited to introduce our newest service and convenience for all our customers. Starting the week of November 8th, 2026, we will be testing a new Gate Access System to make access to your storage space quick and easy. This test will run through March 31st, 2027. Your feedback is paramount to see how this service is making your storage stay with us.


Starting the week of Nov. 8th, 2026, the existing physical keypads will be turned off and inaccessible to use. Instead, to access the facility, you will use your phone to trigger the gate to open. We want to stress, this is not an app that you will download taking up space on your phone, this is a 100% browser based system that you easily access by scanning the QR code that will be on the front gate.


When we say big, we mean BIG. This new signage will be 4’x8’ with the QR code taking up ½ the sign so that you can easily scan it with your camera app. If you still use a flip phone, we have a solution for you too, there will be a phone number listed that you can text to open the gate.


Our new customer portal will include for your ease of access:

  • No credentials needed. To open the gate, you are able to
  1. Use the virtual keypad
  2. Or use your phone number (the one we have on file) to verify yourself to get a quick and easy “Open Gate” button
  • Quick and easy access to the facility’s contact info. No need to search your emails or google us!
  • If, you have verified yourself (with the phone number we have on file), you’ll also have quick and easy access to:
  • Payments – you can use the card we have on file or add a new card
  • Update your auto pay information (again, no need to login with an username and password, just easy access)


The gate access selection of the portal will be accessible ((Date Jim is Here)), but the rest of the system is live now! We encourage you to take a look at it. For customers that have friends, family, and other visitors that need access to your storage space, please let them know as well. The physical keypads will be turned off and they will need to access the gate using this portal too.
